Founded in 1986, The Gambrinus Company is a family-owned company headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Gambrinus sells and markets craft beer and premium spirits from the historic K. Spoetzl Brewery & Distillery in Shiner, Texas. Gambrinus also partners with the Margaritaville Alcohol Beverage Trust to market LandShark Vodka Seltzer.

Our Brands
The historic Spoetzl Brewery was founded in 1909 in Shiner, Texas (population 2,069). In the early days, the brewery crafted beer with the old-world tradition and recipes for homesick German and Czech settlers starting a new life in the unforgiving but beautiful plains of Central Texas.
Since then, the Spoetzl Brewery has grown to become the second-largest 100% family-owned craft brewery in the country. The brewery also holds the distinction of being the oldest independently owned and operated brewery in Texas and one of the oldest in America. Shiner Beers are available in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and Mexico, but every drop of the award-winning beer is still brewed in Shiner, TX—where it all started over 110 years ago
LandShark Vodka Seltzer marks a new chapter for the LandShark brand, while continuing to honor and build upon Jimmy Buffett’s legacy of relaxed, beach-inspired living. In partnership with the Margaritaville Alcohol Beverage Trust, The Gambrinus Company brings this next phase to life - uniting shared values of authenticity, craftsmanship, and experience-driven branding.
Together, the collaboration reflects a broader vision of creating brands that offer more than a product - delivering a lifestyle rooted in ease, enjoyment, and everyday escape.
