Shiner Brewery Donates to Texas Maskuerade Party
The Texas craft brewery has made a $100,000 contribution to the non-partisan advocacy group
The Spoetzl Brewery in Shiner, Texas, the 111-year-old independent craft brewery and brewer of the iconic Shiner Bock, announced today a contribution of $100,000 to the Texas Maskuerade Party.
Founded by Texas music icon and singer-songwriter Gary P. Nunn, the Texas Maskuerade Party is a non-partisan 501(c)(4) advocacy group dedicated to educating and encouraging our fellow Texans during the COVID-19 outbreak. With a focus on ensuring that Texas musicians and iconic Texas music venues do not become casualties of the COVID-19 pandemic, Texas Maskuerade Party’s public awareness campaign includes messaging for Texans to gather and socialize responsibly and follow guidelines outlined by local, State and federal governments.
Shiner’s partnership with the Texas Maskuerade Party will help support a statewide public awareness press tour across Texas launching this November. Gary P. Nunn and Jack Terry will be touring the state of Texas on the press tour in support of saving Texas Music.
Gary P. Nunn stated of the initiative, “This is simply about Texans saving Texans. It’s about getting us back on the road, moving forward, and encouraging your fellow Texan to put their mask where their mouth is. Texans love their freedom, but with freedom comes responsibility – the responsibility to wear your protective mask to protect you, your family, your friends, your neighbors, your community – your fellow Texans.”
Reiterating Gary P. Nunn’s comment on this effort, Jimmy Mauric, Shiner’s Brewmaster, stated, “This initiative is all about Texans protecting other Texans. It’s about getting us through this safely and together. We at the Spoetzl Brewery and with Shiner Beers are proud to partner with the Texas Maskuerade Party to encourage Texans to socialize responsibly.
